And now for a break from my recent adoption-centric posts…

Truth: I totally love living in the quasi-country.  (Read: suburban enough to have 3 grocery stores within 5 minutes. and a Target within 10. but rural enough to pass cornfields and farm animals anytime we hop into the car.  basically perfection.)  One of the biggest turn-ons for me is that anything we’d like to pick- from pumpkins to pigs- is practically in our backyard.  Last week, we headed to our favorite local pumpkin patch.  We hit them up at least once a year and are typically the only souls there.  Last week was no exception.  We chased some chickens (uh, that would be Mary Grace), conquered some corn mazes, picked a few pumpkins, and took some obligatory pictures to prove it.  So, so fun.
