Success!

Thanks to the most wonderful invention ever (a pop-up tent/hut/canopy shade sorta thing), we were able to spend two glorious hours on the beach with Carson yesterday. Best $19.99 ever spent. While he played and napped in the shade, I soaked in the rays and watched the freckles multiply by the dozens.
In other news, my mom is celebrating a rather momentous birthday today. I won’t reveal her age out of respect for my elders (I’m not a suck up- I’m just a delightful middle child. Ha.), so I will leave it at a simple “Happy Birthday Mom!”
